This workshop is for home educated children aged 5+ and their families.
Pontefract and its surrounding towns and villages have a rich history. From real life mysteries to political milestones. From famous visitors to locals who left the area to lead incredible lives. There's lots of intriguing, exciting, amusing and often unexpected stories to explore.
In this workshop, we will:
go on a scavenger hunt around Pontefract Castle
uncover clues and reveal some of the most surprising stories from the locality's past
