Home Education: A local history of film (7+)

Workshop times:

  • Friday 26 June, 10:30am to 12pm

  • Friday 26 June, 1:30pm to 3pm

This workshop is for home educated children aged 7+ and their families. 

Wakefield's past has lots of links with moving images!

In this workshop, we will:

  • explore Wakefield's connections with moving images, from movie-making to locations of old cinemas

  • use costumes and props to create one-minute masterpieces inspired by local history*

Please note: participants will need to bring and use their own devices for filming.
