Workshop times:

This workshop is for home educated children aged 5+ and their families.

Bees have been buzzing around for over 100 million years! When people came along, humans discovered just how helpful bees could be.

In this workshop, we will:

  • explore how bees were useful to the people who lived and worked at Pontefract Castle in medieval times

  • consider the importance of bees at the castle, and in the wider world, today
