This workshop is for home educated children aged 5+ and their families.
Millions of years ago the ancient seas were full of fantastic marine animals! Today, we can learn all about them by exploring their stoney remains.
In this workshop, we will:
examine real marine animal fossils from the ancient seas
imagine what ancient marine animals looked like
consider similarities between ancient and modern sea creatures
design our own imaginary underwater animals from prehistoric times
